• Dr. Chris Braden, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
  Braden has the job of tracking numbers and analyzing trends in food borne illnesses and deaths. Recently the CDC overhauled its methodology for carrying out this task, which gave a new picture of the rate of deaths from bad food.
• Gil Kerlikowske, Office of National Drug Control Policy
  Reducing drug use in America isn’t the job of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy alone. Through its new Delivery Unit, it is enlisting the help of agencies across the federal government.
• Linda Washington, chairperson of the Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area
  The campaign has raised $50 million so far, but still has $17 million to raise by January 17, 2011 to meet its goal.
• Dr. Robert Groves, U.S. Census Bureau
  The closely watched 2010 census has now been completed and reapportionment numbers have been delivered to the President. But much work lies ahead, from analyzing and releasing local data, reviewing best practices from this census, and figuring out what to do differently in 2020.
