McAfee predicts non-stop cyber spy attacks in 2011

The U.S. will face persistant cyber attacks, McAfee predicts.

McAfee Labs is warning the Defense Department to expect non-stop attacks from cyber spies in 2011.

Experts predict the U.S. will face what they call “an advanced persistent threat” from countries engaged in cyber-espionage.

McAfee says spies are using more targeted ways of infiltrating companies through email. The message appears to come from a close friend or colleague. But clicking on the attached link releases a worm that steals source codes and data. They call this “spear-phishing.”
