The Postal Service has paid about $592-million for 654 IT retail and hardware contracts. Part of the challenge is making sure that oversight is worth it. The Postal Service Inspector General’s office just completed an audit of IT contract oversight, specifically addressing operational risk. Judy Leonhardt, Director of Supply Management at the Office of Audit for the USPS OIG, brings us up to speed on this latest audit.
