Infosharing vital to warfighters despite Wikileaks

The nation\'s No. 2 military officer on Wednesday strongly endorsed the warfighting value of information-sharing.

A string of classified files posted on WikiLeaks won’t stop the military from sharing information. Joint Chiefs Vice Chairman General James Cartwright says that sharing information is a competitive advantage on the battlefield and he doesn’t expect recent WikiLeaks disclosures of Afghanistan war files and diplomatic cables to be a setback. But Federal Times reports the breaches are leading the military to redesign its systems, so they can detect odd behavior.
