Army awards contract for mine resistant ambulances

The Army is buying a new kind of battlefield ambulance. It's based on the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected All-Terrain Vehicle. DefenseNews reports Oshkosh will build 250 of them for use in Afghanistan. The contract is worth $255 million.
