Mystery plagues veterans memorial plaque
In the late 1990s -- when the Wilson Building was taken over by the federal government and remodeled -- the plaque was removed and thought discarded.
About a year ago, Investigative Reporter Mark Segraves with our sister station, WTOP, uncovered a missing veterans’ memorial plaque that was thought to have been lost forever. Now, that plaque is being restored; and maybe you can help with identifying the nearly two thousand names listed on the memorial.
