Webusers still willing to risk cyber infection

Despite constant alerts and tips to avoid phishing scams and other viruses, Americans still expose themselves to harm.

Attention blackhats: a new survey finds that one in three Americans is willing to risk downloading viruses or other threats by clicking on suspicious links or websites they find interesting. The Keep Internet Security Simple survey was conducted by Harris Interactive and found that despite constant alerts and tips to avoid phishing scams and other viruses, Americans still expose themselves to harm if links seem intriguing enough, the NewNewInternet reports.
