Hackers recruited for cybersecurity jobs

Maybe hackers aren’t all bad. Look at things from their point of view. They’re compelled to write code, then break code. Keeping that in mind, the Georgia Tech Research Institute held a competition to find coders who can break the system. The Georgia Institute of Technology newspaper, Tech-nique reports that the hacking competition ultimately wants to find good cybersecurity workers, while inspiring ethical hacking. The winner also got $750 bucks. The competition was hosted by GTRI Cyber Technology Group, the Georgia Tech Information Security Center, and the Georgia Tech Association for Computing Machinery.
