Mobile security has become a growing concern among Australian consumers and companies. But, it turns out, if security isn’t convenient, it isn’t implemented. Computerworld reports that 18-percent of Australians claim to regularly use and change their passwords on their mobile devices. Thirty-seven percent say they use passwords that are hard to guess while online. A little more than half are worried about their personal information being misused. IT experts say Australians are quick to embrace new technology, but there is a lag between using new gadgets and implementing appropriate security measures.
