The development of the Smart Grid, the power grid of the future, will provide even more green benefits than originally imagined. Rob Pratt, Electrical Power Systems Integrator for the Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, said that's the equivalent of 66 coal power plants worth of emissions.
