Vendors are noticing a shift in how the military gears up for battle, which will likely lead to a shift in the business of government. Deloitte has just released its own study about how contractors should prepare for new opportunities for doing business with the Pentagon. The report is called “Defense – New Realities, Innovative Response.” It came out of recommendations from the Sustainable Defense Task Force, which looks at how the U.S. should reduce its deficit by updating the military’s current force structure. Five key areas for growth are: intelligence, cybersecurity, IT, Business process improvement and international markets.
