TCS awarded additional contracts to provide parts, equipment

TeleCommunication Systems has won a contract with the Army, worth up to $9.3 million. The Baltimore Business Journal reports the company will provide spare parts to satellite terminals of the Army. The order is initially funded at $5.3 million. The award was made under the Army’s $5 billion World-Wide Satellite Systems Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. TCS also won $12.3 million in additional funding from the Army for satellite equipment and maintenance.
