Defense contracting under fire

DCMA and DCAA are at loggerheads over contracting procedures.

The Defense Contract Management Agency has been called out in an inspector general report for not giving examiners at the Defense Contract Audit Agency enough time to do their work. And, the management agency failed to issue the proper sanctions when contractors missed their responsibilities.

Is it always push and shove between DCMA and DCAA? And does it have to be?
