More than 550,000 new hires will be needed in the federal government over the next four years according to the Partnership for Public Service. Some of these positions will be filled with recent college graduates, but are other opportunities being missed due to current competitive hiring practices? John Palguta is the Vice President for Policy at PPS. He sat recently on an OPM panel that focused on this topic.
