Last fall, finding the H1N1 vaccine was, at some points, difficult. But one woman and her team of contract specialists at the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention were able to greatly help the H1N1 vaccine distribution effort. For that, Nancy Norton is the winner of the General Services Administration’s 2010 Ida Ustad Award for Acquisition Excellence. Norton is a contracting officer and team leader for the CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office. She joins us with a look at the work she did to garner the award.
