Many federal employees have a chance to influence federal outsourcing — what jobs should and should not go to contractors. In just a few weeks, on May 31st, the Office of Federal Procurement Policy will wrap up its public comment period on a draft policy letter that deals with the term “inherently governmental.” OFPP Administrator Dan Gordon says the goal is clarity for everyone. And Federal News Radio took the opportunity to talk with the Administrator about the Acquisition Excellence Awards, given out this past week in Orlando.
