This morning, four local high school students will be receiving the Good Government Award from the Alexandria Sunrise Optimist Club for being the “best and brightest” in their schools.

John Palguta, vice president for policy at the Partnership for Public Service, will be speaking at the awards designed to “accentuate the positive image and eliminate the negative images of government employment.”
