US military leaders in Iraq are heading into the new year with a new resolution: Remove 65,000 troops from the country by August. Some troops will come home for good. But others will face new deployments as the war in Afghanistan heats up. To find out how the military is moving forward with the transition, we spoke with Brigadier General Stephen Lanza in Baghdad. He's a military spokesman in Iraq, and he told us they're moving ahead full steam. (Tomorrow: what the troops are doing for the holidays.)
