Whistleblower lawsuits make it to the Supreme Court

The Supreme Court has heard arguments testing when whistle-blowers can sue and collect some of the settlement

The Supreme Court took up the issue of whistleblowers this week. The case is testing the strength of the False Claims Act which allows citizens who discover fraud in a federal program to sue the government and collect some of the damages. Bill Bransford is a partner at Shaw, Bransford, and Roth.
