Amtower and guest Bill Hoover discuss the precarious position of mid-size systems integration firms. American Systems is an employee-owned firm doing about $200 million and growing. Hoover, who has been in the government contracting market since leaving the US Navy in the early 1980s, has guided American Systems since 2005. With a mix of intel, military civilian and commercial work, and a management and growth model Hoover designed during his years with PRC and BDM, American Systems is on course for continued growth.
