• Greg McGruder, National Geographic’s Vice President for Public Programs is in discussing two new Geo initiatives: the “FOOD: Our Global Kitchen” exhibition at the National Geographic Museum, which explores the complex and intricate food system that brings what we eat from farm to fork, and a new, National Geographic Live “Food for Thought” event series.
• SAVEUR Magazine has a terrific, new cookbook out filled with 1,000+ recipes. It’s the New Classics Cookbook and Betsy Andrews, SAVEUR’S acting editor-in-chief and the editor of the new Saveur DRINK, is in taking us through chapter and verse.
• 2941 Restaurant’s 2nd Annual 8-Course Spice Dinner is coming up and Jonathan Schuyler, the restaurant’s beverage director and sommelier, is in with New York’s legendary “Spice King” Lev Lior Sercarz, who is the owner of Le Boite, to talk about the courses, the spices that and pairings that rev them up and more!
