White House applauds Twitter decision

The Obama administration said that was a good step toward protecting users' privacy on the Web. The White House unveiled a Consumer Privacy Bill of Rights in February. More than 500 companies, including Google, Yahoo, Microsoft and AOL agreed to begin offering the Do-Not-Track option by the end of the year.
