The Office of Personnel Management won an Innovation Award from the Training Officers Consortium for its training and development wiki.

OPM developed the wiki in January 2011 as an “ever-revolving resource” for federal employees to share best practices, according to the wiki.

“Providing training for employees not only helps them develop their skills and knowledge, but it is also a motivational tool as well as a building block to organizational success,” the website states.

OPM Director John Berry said in a statement that the wiki ultimately helps agencies meet mission goals and help feds in their careers by providing a forum for good ideas.
