The Defense Department is proposing a rule that requires contractors to display the DoD fraud hotline poster in common work areas, according to today’s Federal Register.

The current rule allows contractors to not post an agency hotline poster if they have another hotline poster displayed. The proposed change is in response to a Sept. 2009 Government Accountability Office study.

The rule applies to all DoD contractors with contracts that exceed $5 million.

Comments on the proposed rule should be emailed before May 10.
