August 28, 2012 -- This week on "Off the Shelf", Larry Hale, director of the Center for Strategic Solutions and Security Services for GSA's Federal Acquisition Service joins host Roger Waldron to talk about GSA's program management objectives for the USAcess program and the SmartBuy software acquisition program.

Hale also discusses GSA's cloud computing initiatives including GSA's market research efforts regarding cloud brokerage services.

He also highlights GSA's efforts to assist agencies in buying smarter through analysis of current software purchasing patterns in order to reduce duplication and better leverage requirements.
