Lauren Larson joined Federal News Radio as a producer in October 2011. Since then, she has produced live sports, In Depth with Francis Rose and The Federal Drive. She currently serves as coordinating producer and occasional host for special programming.

Before coming to Federal News Radio Lauren spent time in the newsrooms and reporting in the field for WJLA ABC7 and WTOP. She studied broadcast journalism at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland in College Park.

When she's not producing for Federal News Radio Lauren does freelance work as a sports reporter covering Major League Baseball, the National Hockey League and National Basketball Association. She grew up in Denton, Texas.
