In today's tough economic times, federal managers and employees are being asked to do more with less. Budgets are being cut and, in some cases, employee ranks are being reduced through reductions-in-force and buyouts. Janet Hale is a director at Deloitte Consulting and former undersecretary for management at the Department of Homeland Security. She's moderating a panel discussion on this topic at today's Senior Executives Association Career Leadership Conference. She joined Tom Temin live from the conference with tips on managing smarter - the theme of this year's event.
