Electronic identification for veterans

Most federal IT professionals have wrestled with single sign on issues with a variety of systems.
Today's interview takes single sign on to a personal basis - making sure veterans get the benefits they have earned.
Blake is a veteran of the U.S. Army and he noticed that, when he left the service, there was no way he could formally identify himself as a veteran to a variety of organizations.
During the interview, he contrasts his experience with that of a person who retires from the armed forces.
Generally speaking, when this kind of transition takes place, there is a more formal way of identifying yourself for veterans' benefits.
His solution is to establish a company who will act as a trusted third party in order to provide electronic identification for veterans.
His ideas have been well received at large organizations like Microsoft.
Further, his company has been written up in the Wall Street Journal.
