GAO: DoD and VA need to communicate more

Thursday - 3/24/2011, 11:40am EDT

A program designed to help severely wounded veterans get life-long care isn't working the way it should. They want to see more oversight by the VA, and they say the VA should develop a workload assessment tool for staff. They also recommend the VA document staffing decisions.
