Email scammers target IRS return info

Krebs on Security reports the scammers are then using that personal information to re-direct rebate checks to a new address.
The IRS says it would never reach out to taxpayers via email. So if you receive and email from the IRS it's a fake.
If you see any tax-related phishing scams please send an email to phishing@irs.gov.
