Email scammers target IRS return info

The email scammers are warning users of discrepancies on their income tax returns. The cyber crooks then requests users to sent their personal information via fax to a toll free number.
Krebs on Security reports the scammers are then using that personal information to re-direct rebate checks to a new address.
The IRS says it would never reach out to taxpayers via email. So if you receive and email from the IRS it's a fake.
