NASA has joined the relief effort in Nepal, which was struck by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake several weeks ago. Using satellite data, NASA is compiling maps that show areas with the most movement and the most damage. It’s information the Nepalese would have no other way to get on their own. Frank Webb is the deputy manager of the Earth System Science Formulation Office in NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. On the Federal Drive, he told Federal News Radio’s Shefali Kapadia more about the relief efforts.
