Comey tackles terrorism

FBI Director James Comey will deliver a keynote counterterrorism speech in New York City at Fordham Law School on Monday. With the rise of Islamic militants in Iraq and Syria, international terrorism remains a key national security and law enforcement dilemma for the U.S. and its allies. The conference will examine the threat of international terrorism today, as well as counterterrorism strategies. How has the terrorism threat changed in magnitude and strength? How has today’s counterterrorism strategy shifted in response to the threat? What threats do militants in Syria and Iraq, such as ISIS and Khorasan, pose to the U.S.?
