OGIS is 'new kid' on FOIA's block

"We've been working from the very beginning with the Department of Justice to be sure that we're complementary," said Miriam Nisbet, director of the Office of Government Information Services, who was at the DoJ for about 15 years. "DoJ has been the legal advisor on the Freedom of Information Act ... for about 30 years. We're the new kids on the block."
Nisbet discussed OGIS' two main missions Friday morning on The Federal Drive with Tom Temin and Amy Morris.
