IG: FBI agents lack necessary cyber skills

FBI agents are having trouble investigating cyber attacks involving national security. They say the problem is that they don't have the technical expertise, or the manpower. A report by the Justice Department's Inspector General finds that new cyber agents are not equipped to assume responsibility for a national intrusion investigation. The FBI has a plan for agents to become cyber security experts with 12 core courses and on-the-job training. But the IG report doesn't say how many agents have competed the training.
