The Federal Trade Commission is the latest agency trying to streamline its practices. The FTC is teaming with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to coordinate and protect consumers. The agreement called the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act aims to avoid duplication of federal law enforcement and regulatory efforts.

Tom Pahl, the managing attorney of the financial practices division at the FTC and lead attorney of the memorandum of understanding, joined The Federal Drive with Tom Temin to outline these efforts.
