What role do US intelligence agencies play in the Ebola crisis?

The intelligence community appears to be avoiding becoming too deeply involved in the Ebola crisis to avoid mission creep. Besides, according to U.S. officials, their tool kit doesn’t match the heavily scientific and medically-oriented information collection needs of a crisis like this. Some of their tactics might be of use at some point, but some in the intelligence community say they have a high degree of confidence in the CDC to take care of its own information collection needs.
