Government Printing Office's Mike Wash riding the digital wave

The government is publishing more documents than ever before, and putting out more information than at any time in history. But the amount of information that's being pushed out on paper is, proportionally at least, getting smaller.
Digital publishing is becoming a larger part of overall government publishing, and the Government Printing Office is leading that effort. They're making products available in multiple formats, including digital, with an eye toward making those products more accessible both now and in the future.
In the first of a two-part conversation, GPO Chief Information Officer Mike Wash joined me to talk about how his agency is using the digital revolution to its advantage, by creating more and more "born digital" documents every year.
