Forensics is one arrow in your cyber quiver

Steve Shillingford, CEO of Solera Networks, explains more to host Tom Temin. April 29, 2010

April 29, 2010 — Federal Security Spotlight this week talks to Steve Shillingford, the CEO of Solera Networks, a company in the business of network forensics.

Shillingford discusses the changing nature of threats, how even friendly sources such as your anti-virus vendor can compromise your network, and how forensics works in concert with your response strategy to cyber events.

And, he adds, federal agencies often don’t get credit for how on top of cyber security they actually are.
