Dawn Leaf, the Labor Department's deputy chief information officer, joined Federal News Radio for a free online chat to discuss Labor's priorities around IT modernization.

Leaf has been deputy CIO at the Labor Department since November 2012. Before coming to Labor, Leaf worked as a senior adviser at NIST and served as a senior executive for cloud computing at the agency. She also served as CIO at the Commerce Department's Bureau of Industry and Security, deputy CIO and CTO at the Department of Commerce, CTO at the Smithsonian Institution, and was the manager of system architecture for the Patent and Trademark Office.
