Dr. Carolyn Lukensmeyer, president and founder of AmericaSpeaks, offers ways of taking the best from good old fashioned in-person communication and adapting it for use on the Web.
Her non-profit group has partnered with a firm called Ascentum on a suite of tools for public collaboration.
