Northrop Grumman scores cryptography contract

The contract is part of the ICBM Cryptography Upgrade II engineering and manufacturing development program.
Cryptography is a way of securing communications between two points in the presence of a third party. Northrop Grumman has worked with the Air Force's ICBM programs for more than 50 years. A spokesman said the new contract completes a major security improvement for the missile project.
