Cybersecurity policy can't exist in vacuum

Gen. James Cartwright, the vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said the Defense Department can't continue to isolate cybersecurity, Federal Computer Week reports. He explained that Cyber Command and the military cyber components are part of a new structure that will have to be integrated across the Pentagon.
General Cartwright said the recent DoD Strategy for Operating in Cyberspace serves as a basic framework that the department - and the rest of government - can use and build on.
