October 29, 2014 — For many years, party politics aside, Republicans and Democrats in areas heavily populated by federal workers worked together.

The idea was to make sure their constituents didn’t get the short end of the stick just because they worked for the government.

In the first half of this week’s Your Turn radio show, host Mike Causey talks with outgoing Maryland Congressman Frank Wolf, who gives us an insider’s view of the way it was and why we are where we are now.

Also on this week’s show is Janet Kopenhaver who tracks legislation-aimed-at-feds for Federally Employed Women.
