Federal News Radio's Beth Reardon speaks with Recreation News Editor Marvin Bond about fun things to do in and near the nation's capital. This week:

  • sample a rich array of music from Ireland and its Celtic neighbor Scotland on March 15 at the Folger Shakespeare Library;
  • view hundreds of re-enactors from Roman times to modern times on March 16 and 17 during the Jamestown Settlement's annual event depicting the "military through the ages;"
  • enjoy a variety of concerts and other events during the Virginia Arts Festival, which will run through early June and kicks off March 17.
