Bill to safeguard investment In green buildings passes in Senate

The Senate unanimously passed the bill.

The Senate unanimously passed Senators Susan Collins’ (R-ME) and Tom Carper’s (D-DE) legislation designed to ensure that federal employees who operate and maintain our federal facilities have the training and resources they need to safeguard our nation’s significant investment in energy efficient buildings, according to a press release. The bill, approved by the Senate last night, will now go to the House of Representatives for consideration.
