Jim Lewis, the director and senior fellow of the Technology and Public Policy Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, joined In Depth with Francis Rose to discuss the competing proposals.
Lewis testified before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee about the proposed cyber bills. Lewis has said he worries that the cyber proposals could be watered down.
"People will try to dilute legislation, put forward slogans instead of solutions, and write in loopholes," he wrote in a commentary for AOLGovernment. "The goal should be to strengthen, not dilute."
