The National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee is warning President Obama that time is running out to secure the Internet of Things. In a new report, industry leaders caution that the next three to five years are critical to ensuring the cybersecurity of the millions of objects, devices, and sensors connected to the Internet. They want “an immediate and coordinated response” to minimize security risks. Dale Meyerrose is president of the MeyerRose Group, and former Chief Information Officer at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
