One of the highlights of this year’s Public Service Recognition Week is a town hall meeting that features cabinet secretaries. Yesterday, they offered analysis on why employee morale is low across the federal government. Tom Shoop, editor in chief at Government Executive magazine, is writing about that event and what the cabinet secretaries said about specific workforce issues at their departments. He talks to In Depth with Francis Rose about the White House offering a political olive branch to the federal workforce.
