A former prosecutor has taken the helm of the House subcommittee that oversees cybersecurity. Rep. Pat Meehan (R-Pa.) says his experience fighting cybercrime as a U.S. attorney has prepared him for the job. But he'd like to see agencies act more like doctors than cops. Meehan says he wants to see the government triage dangers in cyberspace.

But one professor already has radically changed the course she teaches by opening it up to the public. Marine Corps University associate professor Rebecca Johnson has created a Twitter hash tag so anyone can audit her class and weigh in on military moral dilemmas.
