The Armed Services committee Seapower chairman is tired of waiting for the Navy's ship building plan to come in.

Aol Defense reports Rep. Todd Akin (R-Mo.) will propose an amendment to the Defense Authorization Bill tomorrow that would put pressure on the Navy Secretary.

If the 30-year plan is not in on time, he would lose access to an account called the "triple E" fund. The fund is a small account used for discretional spending. Losing it would mean no money for things like conferences.
